Who operates this website
resindrivewaysburystedmunds.co.uk is an introduction service operated by Patrick Robinson, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, referred to in this notice as the operator, we or us. The operator is the data controller for the enquiry information described below. The operator does not carry out driveway work; enquiries are connected to one vetted, independent local installer.
What we collect, and when
This website collects personal information only when you choose to send it:
- Quote form: your name, phone number, postcode, and any details you give about the job.
- Phone calls: if you call {{TRACKING_NUMBER}}, the call is routed through a call-handling service. The number you call from, and the time and duration of the call, are logged. Calls may be recorded for quality and vetting purposes, and a short notice plays before your call is connected so you know this in advance.
Browsing this site sends nothing about you to us. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels and no cookies anywhere on this website, which is why there is no cookie banner: nothing non-essential is set, so there is nothing to consent to. The only third-party request the site makes is to load its typeface from Google Fonts, which involves your browser fetching a font file from Google's servers.
What we do with your enquiry
Your enquiry details, name, contact information and job description, are passed to the one vetted local specialist who will provide your quote. That is the entire purpose of this website, and it is the only routine sharing that happens. Your details are not sold, not passed to marketing lists, and not auctioned to multiple firms. Once introduced, the specialist handles your information as an independent business and data controller in their own right.
The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interests: you have asked for a quote, and connecting you with the installer is the service you requested. Call recordings rest on the same basis and are used to check enquiry quality and how the specialist handles the people we introduce.
How long we keep it
- Enquiry details: kept for up to 12 months from your last contact, then deleted.
- Call recordings: kept for up to 6 months, then deleted.
- Call logs (number, time, duration): kept for up to 12 months for billing and quality checks.
Shorter deletion on request is honoured wherever the law allows; see your rights below.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask for corrections to inaccurate information;
- ask for your information to be deleted;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your information has been mishandled.
To exercise any of these rights, write to the operator, Patrick Robinson, 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, or use the contact form marking your message as a privacy request. Requests are answered within one month as the law requires.
Where your information lives
Form submissions and call data are held on the systems of the operator and its service providers, protected by access controls. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, the operator relies on the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.
